The website template is from Magento and I would like visitors to register online. They will enter their personal information, when they click submit button, the form will go directly to the site’s email. How do I do that? Could anyone tell me the steps on how to do it? I do not know any programming language, I couldn’t find these on the manual and I appreciate your help.

AWeber Review – Advantages And Disadvantages Of The AWeber Autoresponder
AWeber Autoresponder Background:
AWeber was founded in 1998 and they’ve provided great service to email marketers and small business owners since then. They pioneered email automation helping many businesses and network marketers build huge lists. AWeber has served over 43,000 people internationally.
Aweber Features:
1. Distribute email newsletters
2. Email Templates – AWeber offers over 150 functional templates. You may select any color you wish for your template. They have tested them with Gmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo for compatibility. There are many different layouts available. They have opt-in forms that match the email templates.
3. Distribute your blog posts as a newsletter seamlessly.
4. Analyze who’s clicking your links and reading your emails
5. Integrate on Facebook and Twitter
6. Publish emails online
7. Website sign-up forms that match email templates
8. Unlimited follow-up emails.
That wraps up the AWeber Autoresponder. Alright, what is my initial investment then?
AWeber Review – Pricing List:
Aweber Pricing Plan
0 – 500 members /month or 3.80/yr.(.15/mth)
501 – 2,500 people /mth
2,501 – 5,000 subscribers /mth
5,001 – 10,000 subscribers /mth
10,001 – 25,000 members 9/month
These prices are fairly competitive with other autoresponders on the market. Getresponse does have better pricing – check it out.
GetResponse Pricing:
0 – 500 subscribers /mth or 7.12/annually(.76/month)
501 – 2,500 members /mth
2,501 – 5,000 subscribers /month
5,001 – 10,000 people /month
10,001 – 25,000 subscribers 5/month
This is slightly less expensive than AWeber. GetResponse also offers a 15% discount for a half-year payment and an 18% discount for paying up front for a whole year.
The Drawback of Utilizing AWeber:
– It takes a long time to learn how to use this service. This is especially true if this is your first time settting up an email list. It took me several hours and some trial and error to figure out how it all worked.
- There’s no free test drive with AWeber. AWeber does offer a trial for the first month that you can cancel at anytime without further charges.
- You cannot send email videos through AWeber. You can put links to videos hosted on your blog or website, but you can’t actually put the video in the email.
The Advantages of Applying AWeber:
- They have good tutorials to help newbies figure out how the program works.
- There are an unlimited amount of email lists you can use
- You can address your subscribers by name. You can put your customer’s name in the email or subject line.
- Great designs for opt-in forms that match your email templates which creates congruency and a professional image.
- Bloody safe and speedy email delivery – huge for an autoresponder to have this. With several autoresponders only twenty percent of your emails actually get delivered.
- Spam checks. AWeber gives you feedback on how “spammy” your emails look. Then you can twist them to ge through the spam filters better.
AWeber Review Closure:
Overall, AWeber provides a great service. It is extremely solid and has expeditious delivery. There is a learning curve involved when setting up a new list, but that is true for any autoresponder. Getresponse does have a little better pricing. Also, Getresponse has video email marketing which AWeber does not feature.

Apple president and founder Steve Jobs announces the iAd mobile advertising platform.
(PRWEB) April 21, 2010
The advertising world is about to be transformed, and a newly minted breed of agency plans to be front and center in the revolution.
On April 8, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced his iAd advertising platform in a keynote for OS 4, the latest operating system for the iPhone and iPod Touch, due for release in June and followed by a fall launch for an iPad version. Jobs promised the iAd platform would “combine the emotion of TV with the interactivity of the web,” famously quipping that existing mobile advertising “sucks.”
The iAd Agency is the offspring of veteran Alberta-based advertising and branding agency GRAPHOS (http://www.graphos.ca). And the timing is perfect for the new firm, says its president. “After nearly two decades of creating ad campaigns, video, animation and interactive products for our clients, this is exactly where we were heading,” says GRAPHOS founder Laurier Mandin, who has been a user and fan of Apple product since the 1970s. “We see iAds as something so revolutionary they deserve to be a business focus rather than just another service offering.”
“It’s possibly the most exciting thing that’s ever happened to advertising,” Mr. Mandin says. “Our team can unite our live-action video and animation capabilities for games and interactive three-dimensional product tours, and suddenly the customer is a participant than just a passive audience member. It’s not just about an ad within your app. The user now gets inside the ad and drives it.”
To further the immersive experience, The iAd Agency will be able to make creative use of all the features within the user’s device via iAds, something never seen before in mobile advertising. These can include the multitouch screen, accelerometer, compass, GPS location services, audio and vibration. Ads will take advantage of the new iPhone OS 4 multitasking capability to operate “in-app,” meaning users never leave an application to interact and even make purchases.
The iAd Agency will use its own animation, creative and development resources and its existing network to build the ads initially, and has begun sourcing additional help, says Kelly Grainger, director of new media development at GRAPHOS. “We’ve had a phenomenal response from interested developers and programmers, many with a pile of solid iPhone apps to their credit, so we’re not worried about getting the work done. We’re accepting resumes, especially from experienced people ready to develop with HTML5.”
Though the iAd Software Development Kit (SDK) for developers is yet to be released, the iAd Agency suggests interested advertisers begin planning campaigns now.
“We already know a lot about what the ads will be capable of and how we’ll achieve it development-wise, and it takes some time to work through the conceptual and planning stages of a really great campaign,” Mr. Grainger says. “Businesses that want to get in early, should get the creative process started right away and we’ll make any necessary adjustments once the program officially rolls out. “
As with the App Store, all iAds will need to be approved by Apple, Mr. Grainger notes, though the only ads likely to be denied entry to the platform will be ones containing adult or offensive material.
As for price, most of the information is still to come. “Apple has always been about doing things best,” Mr. Mandin says. “That’s why the company is so consistently successful. Right now this is a platform and a product for clients who want to do something absolutely amazing to connect with their audience in a whole new way.” The iAd agency is prepared to offer ballpark pricing to potential clients based on the number of interactive components in a campaign and complexity of development, he says.
Others will soon follow The iAd Agency, Mr. Mandin acknowledges, but he believes his company has an edge. “We’ve always been much quicker, more nimble, and more economical than the huge agencies, and the same will apply in creating iAds. Besides, I’m certain this is the beginning of something phenomenal, and competition will be what makes it achieve its potential. Everyone will want to be the agency whose ideas push iAds to the next level, and we intend to be the one to watch.”

With the announcement from Apple during its event today that it is launching a mobile ad platform named iAd, one common question that has come up is how it differs from Google’s adwords for mobile program.
With the iPad now having sold over 450,000 units and counting, Apple is solidifying its lead as the mobile hardware/software play to beat. Before the iAds announcement those advertisers that wanted to launch an ad campaign on Apple mobile devices really only had two main choices. They could go the traditional route of using google’s adwords program which would put text, image or video units on mobile pages that would be triggered by keywords just as google’s traditional desktop search ads work.
The other option was to use one of the mobile ad specialists that would place ads inside of specific applications. The largest of these was Admob which was purchased by Google after a short bidding war and stand off with Apple last year. Another was Quattro Wireless which Apple purchased only a few months ago.
Mobile advertising is big business…and is expected to get much bigger. While fiscal year 2009 was a 0 million+ year, by 2013 that is expected to nearly quadruple. Within 5 years in fact, estimates are that over 50% of all web based advertising will occur on mobile devices. By then the total ad market will be in the multiple billions. It’s not hard to see why Apple wants a piece of this pie.
Steve Jobs today was very adamant in his belief that ads in search do not work well on mobile devices. This is because with limited screen real estate, people tend to use mobile devices for specific applications such as reading a book, playing a game or making a skype call. They are not used as much for general browsing as one might do on a large screen such as a desktop or laptop. He believes therefore that the real opportunity in advertising on mobile devices is for in application advertising that is done with a certain minimum emotional/entertainment value. Think videos and cool interactive games popping up in between levels of a game or before or after a call or use of an application.
What Steve apparently doesn’t want is to have boring text ads such as you see all over the web that google and yahoo put out that will simply clog up the small screen of a mobile device and simply annoy users.
Apple therefore is setting up its own system that will serve several purposes. First of all it will compete directly with google via it’s Admob purchase and other mobile specific ad platforms to sell ad units to advertisers. It will also work with developers to help design appropriate optimized ad space for their applications to help them earn revenue from ads and keep the price of their applications down while still making money.
Finally, it is unclear how much creative input Apple will have with the actual ads themselves. One would expect them to have some kind of quality control such as they do now on applications that are or aren’t accepted into the app store.
So what about google?
Google will still be selling its ad units via traditional search. So in a way this is not a direct head to head battle with Google’s bread and butter search ads. But since web advertising is headed into a more mobile direction over the next several years anyway, it would seem that it is in a direct battle for both the dollars…and the form that advertising will take as things go forward.
What has not been mentioned yet is if the iAds platform will extend outside of Apple’s ecosystem. For instance will you be able to use iAds on android or Windows mobile devices? Is this platform only for Apple devices? Only Steve Jobs knows for sure and the deciding factor will probably be what is best for Apple in the long run. I kind of have a site at http://www.jmptmobile.com
Should I get publishers or advertisers to sign up first?
